Good news for the Mauritian tourism sector! According to the latest figures published by Statistics Mauritius, the number of tourist arrivals for the month of June 2014 on the island, has undergone growth of 9,9% compared to the same period in 2013.
Moreover, European market has risen by 10,8% and generally speaking, for the 1st semester 2014, the island has experienced a growth of 4% regarding its tourism sector. Figures for China are excellent with a rise of 86,9% for a total number of arrivals of 31 938 for the 1st semester 2014.
