Construction works regarding Avalon Golf Estate in Bois-Chéri are in progress. This residential development is the result of a partnership of real estate developers : Nexteracom Services, Ernst Young and PAD Co Ltd. It has required an initial investment of Rs. 7 billion.
The project will occupy a land surface area of 550 arpents and will host a world class 18-hole golf course (designed by famous Peter Matkovich), a country club and 364 villas out of which 264 exclusively reserved to Mauritian residents. The rest will be sold under the Real Esate Scheme (RES). The following facilities will be available for Avalon residents : bar, restaurant, heated swimming pool, tennis and basket ball courts and barbecue corner etc.
