Chinese real estate giant takes over mega IRS project in Roches-Noires

A Shanghai-based real estate company has signed an agreement regarding the taking over of the mega IRS project at Roches-Noires, in the north-east of the island. Described as the future largest IRS project in Mauritius, the project would require an investment of Rs.35 billion for the construction of 1400 luxury residential units on a land surface of 850 arpents. In fact, the Chinese group has just acquired a plot of land of 25 - 30 arpents next to a barachois.
This high-class property development will host commercial spaces, an educational center, a private medical center, a spa and a 18-hole golf course designed according to international standards.
