Designed to cater to an active, vibrant and dynamic lifestyle thanks to its ecosystem of leisure, educational and work-related amenities, Uniciti–the Medine Group Smart City – is putting the west coast of the island firmly back on the map...

Live, learn, work, play!

Ideally located at the gateway to the West, adjacent to the coastal villages of Flic-en-Flac and Tamarin, Uniciti’s developments have become some of western Mauritius’ most iconic landmarks.

SPARC Sports & Medical Centre

Residents and visitors alike enjoy a state-of-the-art lifestyle in one of the island’s most privileged locations, thanks to infrastructure such as the SPARC Sports and Medical Centre; Cascavelle shopping mall; Uniciti office park; and an educational hub includes flagship educational institutions such as Westcoast International Primary and Secondary School and Middlesex University Mauritius.

In addition to Uniciti’s existing and future infrastructure, the city is home to a wide range of recreational activities to enjoy with family or friends. Indulge in the pleasure of horse riding at the Cavalia equestrian centre; perfect your swing at the Tamarina golf club; recharge your batteries at the Casela leisure park; take a breath of fresh air at the Yemen nature reserve; or have a swim at the lively beaches of Flic-en-Flac and Tamarin Bay.

The Smart City takes shape…

Uniciti’s many large-scale projects are now coming to fruition, offering their users an exceptional lifestyle in a smart and vibrant city.

  • Nearing completion are the 15-hectare Magenta Park and its kilometre-long promenade... The park will eventually house thousands of trees, as well as rare endemic species and bodies of water. Walkways and cycling paths will also soon be developed, to delight nature lovers!
  • Magenta Parkside consists of a mix of urban and residential developments, divided into four large residential areas and set alongside Magenta Park. On one side its users will enjoy breathtaking views of the west coast and a landscaped park; and on the other, they’ll have easy access to a lively, bustling town centre.
  • Work on Oceanside’s very first residential phase, at the heart of Uniciti, will begin as from next month. With its refined and airy design, the peaceful residential setting of City Garden is intended to offer an exceptional quality of life. Mauritians and foreigners holding a Residence, Occupation or Permanent Residence permit will be entitled to purchase plots.

The City Garden

Upon completion, Oceanside will consist of three distinct but coherent areas: The City Garden, The River and The Village. These uniquely atmospheric neighbourhoods are being developed to be as sustainable as possible and to promote human interaction and social inclusion.

  • The residential units of The Grove in Uniciti’s Central district, are proving huge popular. Over 60% of them have already been sold! Set atop a rolling hill, The Grove’s apartments, villas and townhouses offer superb panoramic views of the Rempart and Tourelle mountains, the lagoon beyond and the cliffs of the southwest of the island. Trees screen each apartment off from its neighbours and protect the privacy of their residents.

The Grove’s is set apart by its architectural style, which combines clean lines and bright colours with natural materials – a reminder of the nature that surrounds the project. The result is modern yet understated, and blends perfectly into The Grove’s lush setting.

“We are working on several other residential projects, planned for later in year. Our teams are implementing development plans to improve our future residents’ living environment, by offering them new health services, diversifying our educational offer and developing new workspaces and leisure activities", concludes Christophe de Froberville, Development Manager of the Medine group’s real estate division.
