Great news for Trimetys Group! On the 23rd of May 2018, Cap Tamarin Smart & Happy Village was officially presented at Place Tamarin in the presence of the guest of honour, the Prime Minister Pravind Kumar Jugnauth.
Led by CEO Georges Talbotier and shareholders Kian et Jayeen Jhuboo, Trimetys launches a major flagship project which already partly exists. As a matter of fact, the past couple of years have witnessed the early stages of the first eco-friendly smart resort village: a commercial mall (La Place Tamarin), a filling station, a business hub with office space, a sports club (Riverland Sports Club), a school (Paul & Virginie) among others have been constructed.
A little piece of the dream paradise: a 3-hectare park bordering a river on a total surface area of 44 hectares for a Rs 11,5-billion investment over the next 5 to 7 years. Phase 1 which started in May 2018, shall involve some 300 workers while delivery is due in June 2020.
“We are in the midst of creating a real village, a kind of extension to the existing village, with all the facilities and commodities accessible to everyone. The enactment of the new legal provisions is very well suited to this type of development”, specifies Kian Jhuboo, Director of Trimetys.
